AI systems help gather sources, extract claims, compare reporting, and surface possible connections as part of a documented method (see How we build every brief). They can misread a source, attribute a claim to the wrong actor, or produce a plausible statement that the record does not support. A person selects the evidence, writes and edits the full analysis brief, and checks every load-bearing claim before publication. That process reduces the risk. It does not eliminate it.
We work to a documented method: claims are validated against their sources and labelled with their evidentiary status, and connections between developments are presented as hypotheses with their confidence stated. Even so, developments move, sources conflict, and assessments can change as new information arrives. We do not warrant that any brief is complete or that it remains current after publication.
If a brief contains an error, we correct it openly. See our Corrections note below.
When we get something wrong, we say so, whether the error came from a source, an editorial judgement, or an AI-drafting step. Material errors are corrected in the next brief and noted on the affected brief itself. We do not silently edit the record. If you believe a brief contains an error, tell us and we will check it against the sources.
